Your Next Chapter in Veterinary Care Starts Here
You know what it feels like when a veterinary team is waiting for answers. Diagnostic images have been submitted. Clinical history is essential. A treating veterinarian needs timely, accurate information to make important decisions. Somewhere, a concerned pet owner is waiting for news about a beloved animal.
At Vet's Choice Radiology (VCR), your work helps connect those moments.
We're seeking experienced veterinary nurses and veterinary technicians who excel at clinical coordination, attention to detail, and supporting exceptional patient care. This is an opportunity to apply your veterinary knowledge in a different way, helping veterinary teams and board-certified specialists work together through a global teleradiology service.
Veterinary care never stops, and neither do we. VCR provides specialist teleradiology services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
As part of our New Zealand team, your schedule will align with U.S.-based overnight operations while allowing you to work daytime and afternoon hours locally.
2:00 p.m. - 12:00 midnight NZST (3:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. during NZDT)
2:00 p.m. - 12:00 midnight NZST (3:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. during NZDT)
9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. NZST
4:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. NZST
These schedules support U.S. Central Time operations. Working hours may shift by approximately one hour during daylight saving transitions.
Employees receive an additional shift differential for designated weekend hours.
You won't be interpreting diagnostic studies or making medical diagnoses. Instead, you'll play a critical role in ensuring cases move efficiently and accurately through the diagnostic process.
Review imaging submissions for completeness, image quality, clinical history, and patient information before radiologist review.
Monitor workflow queues and identify issues that could affect turnaround times.
Work directly with veterinary practices to obtain missing information, clarify requests, and document next steps.
Provide timely and professional communication that helps veterinary professionals feel informed and supported.
Utilise Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Teams, and specialised veterinary radiology platforms to support daily operations.
Your success begins with structured onboarding.
You'll receive approximately four weeks of fully paid training alongside experienced Team Leads who will guide you through our systems, workflows, quality standards, and communication processes.
The goal is simple: to ensure you feel confident, supported, and set up for long-term success.
We're looking for someone who naturally notices details, communicates effectively, and takes pride in providing outstanding support to both colleagues and veterinary professionals.
If your experience doesn't align perfectly with every preferred qualification, we still encourage you to apply.
Help veterinary teams deliver timely specialist care to animals around the world.
Work from home with company-provided equipment and technology support.
Develop specialised expertise in veterinary imaging operations, clinical workflow coordination, and global teleradiology services.
Join a collaborative, highly skilled team that values professionalism, communication, continuous learning, and mutual support.
As an employee hired through our Employer of Record partner, you'll receive employment benefits and statutory entitlements applicable under New Zealand employment legislation, including KiwiSaver eligibility where applicable.
Our recruitment process is conversational and straightforward.
You’ll have the opportunity to meet with members of our Clinical Liaison leadership team and learn more about the role, the schedules, and what success looks like at VCR.
If you're looking to apply your veterinary experience in a new way while remaining connected to patient care, we'd love to hear from you.
