Job summary

Apex Car Rentals in Queenstown is seeking a Vehicle Service Agent to check and prepare our vehicles for customers. You will clean interiors and exteriors, assess damages, log mileage, refuel, and monitor fluid levels and tyres using handheld devices.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with work during mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays. A full, clean Class 1 licence is essential and comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential.
• Previous experience in a hands-on or physical labouring role.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in all weather conditions delivering a high standard of work.
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the interior and exterior of our vehicles by cleaning, washing, and vacuuming all returned vehicles
• Assessing vehicle for any potential new damages and report it as per our vehicle damage procedure
• Reviewing returned vehicle gas levels and car kilometres and inputting them into our hand-held devices
• Refuelling tanks, checking fluid levels and tyre conditions along with pressure and tread depth
