We are currently looking for experienced Vehicle Preparation & Coating Specialist to perform tasks in the Automotive, Marine & Hotel industries.

You will be responsible for all vehicle preparation and coating duties (cars/motorhomes/motorbikes/vehicles/yachts/boats), including but not limited to surface preparation and rectification, painting and refinishing, detaching and re-attaching panels/parts, touch-ups, applying coatings & surface sealants, grooming & maintenance, matching and mixing paint colours, along with any other duties as required. You will be assisting, training and overseeing staff members and making sure all jobs and tasks and completed following the company’s standards.

Precise application of primers, paints, ceramic coatings, paint protection film and wrapping to vehicles and other surfaces, using electrical hoists, mechanical equipment and power tools. Careful attention to detail is critical due to the quality of vehicles and assets handled and the standard of services provided.

Role: Permanent

Hours: Full time – Monday to Friday (possible weekend work)

Rates: $45 - $55

MUST have a minimum of 3 years’ experience – ideally with Vehicle Preparation & Coating

You will:

· Be physically fit and capable of heavy duties

· Be assisting, training and supervising other team members as required

· Have an eye for detail and providing an exceptional customer experience

· Ideally have previous experience with vehicle preparation and coating or similar

· Be able to work outside for majority of the day

· Be experienced using hand tools and power tools

· Be hard working & dependable

If you are successful:

· You will be offered permanent full-time employment with a minimum of 30 hours per week paid

· Your hourly rate will be dependent on your level of experience

· Training available as appropriate to improve your skills and finishing results

· You will be required to work at different sites in Auckland region

· You will be required to follow all advised health and safety regulations
