Job summary

Rocket Lab in Auckland is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our Vehicle Integration team on Day Shift, providing shop floor leadership for 15+ technicians and leading delivery, quality, and safety.

This hands-on role focuses on capacity planning, team development, and relentless problem-solving to sustain launch cadence and ensure conformance to specifications and health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a leadership/supervisory position.
• 5+ years aviation/aerospace manufacturing or maintenance experience.
• High School diploma, NCEA Level 2 (minimum 60 credits), or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 15+ technicians through regular 1-on-1s and performance reviews.
• Drive delivery commitments through demand and capacity planning.
• Plan work with a 1-4 week horizon and identify blockers before they impact production.
• Enforce SOPs and health & safety requirements; own quality outcomes.
