Job summary

Ingham Hamilton on Te Rapa Road is seeking a Vehicle Groomer to keep our showroom and yard gleaming for every customer.

Join a 100% Kiwi-owned group with 15+ dealerships, where training on the job helps you build skills. You’ll wash, polish and detail vehicles, prep them for delivery, maintain display readiness, move cars safely around site and collaborate with sales and service teams to meet delivery times.

Qualifications

• NZ driver licence (essential)
• Eye for detail and pride in a job well done
• Reliability and good timekeeping
• Ability to work at a steady pace on a busy day
• Grooming or detailing experience is an advantage but not required

Responsibilities

• Wash, polish and detail new and used vehicles, inside and out
• Prep cars for delivery, showroom floor and yard
• Keep yard and display vehicles tidy and presentation-ready
• Move vehicles safely around the site
• Collaborate with sales and service teams to hit delivery times

We need a Vehicle Groomer who takes pride in their work and enjoys seeing a dull car come up gleaming.

What you'll be doing

• Washing, polishing and detailing new and used vehicles, inside and out
• Prepping cars for delivery, the showroom floor and the yard
• Keeping the yard and display vehicles tidy and presentation-ready
• Moving vehicles around the site safely
• Working with the sales and service teams to hit delivery times

What you'll bring

• A full NZ driver licence (essential)
• A keen eye for detail and pride in a job well done
• Reliability and good timekeeping
• The ability to work at a steady pace and stay on top of a busy day
• Grooming or detailing experience is an advantage, but not essential
• Current legal right to work in New Zealand
