Job summary

Inchcape is seeking a motivated Yard Hand in Wellington to support vehicle detailing, yard coordination and logistics for our dealership. You will prepare vehicles for delivery, maintain presentation standards, and help move and park vehicles across the yard while supporting dealership operations.

This hands-on role suits those who take pride in quality and efficiency, with a focus on accuracy and collaboration with Sales and Service teams.

Qualifications

• Full New Zealand Driver's Licence with no restrictions.
• Previous vehicle detailing, yard hand, dealership or vehicle handling experience highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and park a variety of vehicles.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean and prepare vehicles for customers.
• Safely move, park and transport vehicles within the yard and to/from service areas.
• Manage vehicle placement and organisation within the dealership yard.
• Fuel, inspect and ensure vehicles are ready for delivery.
• Report any damage or issues and maintain yard presentation.
