Job summary

Bear Park Limited is seeking a Teacher in Training, or an experienced Unqualified Teacher, to join our Keas room (2-3 year olds) at Bear Park Remuera. Working with this age group is engaging, rewarding and fun!

Bear Park provides professional development, paid in-service sessions every 2 months, 3 hours of dedicated group planning time per room per week, and opportunities to attend external workshops and conferences to support teachers in delivering individualized programmes and fostering

Qualifications

• Candidates must be a New Zealand Resident or Citizen, or hold a valid New Zealand work visa that permits full-time employment.

Job description

The Role:

We are looking for a Teacher in Training, or experienced Unqualified Teacher, to join our Keas room (2-3.5 year olds) at Bear Park Remuera. Working with this age group is engaging, rewarding and fun! With ratios of at least 1:7 we allow our teachers the ability to engage in intentional and meaningful learning opportunities with small groups.

From our spacious outdoor areas to our central piazza, we’ve created an environment that is natural, transparent and inspiring for all. We focus on the many expressive languages that children use and develop throughout their early years, with our performing arts room and central and classroom ateliers encouraging children to engage in the art of dance, drama, music, art and more.
