Job summary

Greenlane Childcare Centre is a privately owned, community-focused centre in Auckland that provides care for children aged 3 months to 5 years. As the team leader of the Koru room, you will work with two other kaiako to guide a small team, supporting nurturing learning experiences and strong relationships with tamariki and whānau.

Qualifications

• Registered ECE teacher with NZ credentials.
• Experience in a leadership role within a NZ ECE setting.
• Confident in leading, mentoring and supporting a team.
• Builds warm, responsive relationships with children, whanau, and colleagues.
• Organised and reflective, committed to high-quality teaching and care.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Koru room team of kaiako and provide nurturing, responsive care for up to 12 tamariki.
• Mentor and support staff to maintain high standards of practice and professional growth.
• Collaborate with whanau and community partners to support children's transitions and learning.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that aligns with centre values.
