Job summary

Fulton Hogan Limited is seeking an experienced Truck and Trailer Driver in New Zealand. The role requires safe, efficient operation of heavy vehicles, adherence to safety and quality standards, and a commitment to maintaining equipment and records.

You will support the programme of work, handle pre-start checks, and adapt to unsealed roads with a team-first attitude. On-site work with opportunities for growth and training are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of heavy vehicle driving experience.
• Current Class 5 licence with W, T and R endorsements.
• Workplace First Aid certification.
• Site Safe Civil Passport.
• Safe Handling of Bitumen certificates.
• Strong safety focus and good judgement.
• Willingness to work extra hours.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate truck and trailer units safely and efficiently.
• Complete work as directed to support the programme of work.
• Conduct pre-starts, identify hazards, and speak up when something seems unsafe.
• Keep trucks and equipment compliant, presentable, and well maintained; maintain records.
• Follow safety, environmental and quality processes and report incidents or near misses.

We’re looking for an experienced Truck and Trailer Driver who knows how to get the job done properly and safely. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work, backs their team, and keeps standards high.

You’ll be trusted to drive safely and efficiently, support the programme of work, and keep your truck and equipment in good nick. If you’re practical, reliable, and comfortable working on unsealed roads, you’ll fit right in. Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities

• Drive and operate truck and trailer units safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Complete work as directed by your Manager or Supervisor to support the programme of work.
• Carry out pre-starts, identify hazards, and speak up when something doesn’t look right.
• Keep trucks and equipment compliant, presentable, and well maintained, including accurate record keeping.
• Follow safety, environmental, and quality processes, and report incidents, near misses, and improvement ideas.
