Fulton Hogan is seeking a Truck Driver (General Cartage) to support lower South Island operations. You will transport aggregates, asphalt and roading materials between quarries, plants, yards and sites in a hands-on role that values safety and teamwork.

You will deliver on time and contribute to a reliable, efficient operation. Applicants should have a current Class 5 licence (Class 4 considered) with W, T and R endorsements and hands-on heavy vehicle experience.

• Hands-on heavy vehicle driving experience in outdoor environments

Responsabilités

• Transport aggregate, asphalt and roading materials safely and efficiently across the lower South Island.
• Complete cartage runs to delivery timeframes so crews and plants stay supplied.
• Load, cart and tip product safely in quarry, plant and construction sites.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks, maintain logbooks and keep the truck tidy and roadworthy.
• Build strong working relationships with dispatchers and site teams and assist with yard duties when needed

Mō te tūranga | About the role

We’re looking for a Truck Driver (General Cartage) to join our team and help keep our lower South Island operations moving. You’ll transport aggregate, asphalt and other roading materials safely and efficiently between our quarries, plants, yards and project sites. This is a hands‑on role for someone who backs themselves, values safety and takes pride in doing good work.

You’ll be trusted to deliver on time, work alongside great people and pitch in where needed. If you like variety, practical work and being part of a team that is friendly and straightforward, this could be your place.

Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities

• Transport aggregate, asphalt and other roading materials safely and efficiently across the lower South Island.
• Complete cartage runs to delivery timeframes so crews and plants stay supplied and ready to go.
• Load, cart and tip product safely in quarry, plant and active construction environments.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks, maintain logbooks and keep your truck tidy, roadworthy and well cared for.
• Build strong working relationships with dispatchers, site crews and plant teams, while helping with yard duties or manual work when needed.
