Roofing Industries in Cromwell is seeking a hands-on Truck Driver/Production Assistant for our brand-new facility. You will operate roll-forming machinery and assist with fabricating flashing and roofing accessories, while also delivering materials to customers across Central Otago.

This is a varied role that combines production work with local deliveries. You will load and unload trucks, manage stock, pick and pack orders, and use a forklift or Hiab/crane when required.

Competenze

• Holds a current Class 4 driver licence.
• Holds a current forklift licence.
• Experience with Hiab or overhead gantry crane is advantageous.
• Experience in production or manufacturing is advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and hard-working.
• Right to work in New Zealand and able to pass pre-employment checks.

Mansioni

• Operate roll-forming machinery and assist with manufacturing flashings and roofing accessories.
• Deliver roofing materials to customers across Central Otago, including loading and unloading trucks.
• Process inwards goods and manage incoming stock.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
• Use a forklift and Hiab/gantry crane for safe material handling.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures.
• Work effectively as part of a small, supportive team.
