Job summary

Trent's Wholesale in Central Otago invites applications for a Store person in its Alexandra warehouse. You will be picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch in a fast-moving, safety-first environment.

This role involves working in chiller and freezer spaces, lifting up to 25 kg, and maintaining accuracy and productivity. You’ll contribute to stock movement and general warehouse duties as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in chiller and freezer environments.
• Good physical fitness with ability to lift up to 25 kg safely.
• Ability to work for extended periods in demanding conditions.
• Effective time management and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Forklift endorsement and OSH certificate (preferred but not essential).
• Reliable and punctual work ethic.

Job description

As a Store person, you'll play an important role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Working as part of the Trent's Central Otago team, you'll be responsible for picking, packing, checking and preparing orders for dispatch while maintaining high standards of accuracy, productivity, and safety. This is a physically demanding role that includes working in both chiller and freezer environments, including temperatures below -18°C. You'll also assist with stock movement, replenishment, housekeeping, and general warehouse duties as required.

• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A forklift endorsement and current OSH certificate (preferred but not essential)
