Job summary

Beca Limited in Wellington, New Zealand, is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer to design and deliver transmission line projects across New Zealand and Australia. You will work with civil, structural, electrical and environmental teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes and build client relationships while advancing your technical delivery skills.

Our ideal candidate has a degree in Civil/Structural/Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, plus experience in transmission line design and familiarity

Opportunity

As a Transmission Line Engineer, you'll play an active role in the design and delivery of transmission line projects across New Zealand and Australia.

Working alongside experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams, you'll:

• Deliver transmission line design and engineering solutions across a range of voltage levels and project stages.
• Collaborate with civil, structural, electrical, environmental and project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with clients and contribute to successful project delivery.
• Apply and further develop your technical skills through technical collaboration and hands-on project experience.
• Contribute to the development of innovative solutions that support network resilience and the energy transition.

About you

• A degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in transmission line design and delivery.
• Familiarity with PLS-CADD or similar design tools.
