Overview

We're looking for a Training and Development Advisor to join our Training Team. In this role, you'll play a key part in developing, delivering, and improving workplace training and assessments with a strong focus on Health & Safety, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and the development of key competency skills.

Responsibilities
  • Design, review, and enhance training and assessment materials in consultation with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Support SOP development, training, and document control processes.
  • Deliver group and one-on-one training sessions tailored to different learning styles and needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across QA, H&S, Operations, and more to ensure training and SOPs align with business goals.
  • Help schedule and facilitate effective training sessions, both internally and externally.
  • Maintain and manage training records and systems.
  • Support the ongoing development and effectiveness of the wider training team.
  • Be flexible to support training across both day and night shifts when required.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across all levels
  • Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage time and tasks independently
  • A practical mindset with a calm, adaptable, and solution-focused approach
  • Experience in identifying training needs and developing learning strategies
  • Confident with Microsoft Office and ideally familiar with Training Management Systems
  • Training experience, including facilitation and resource development
  • Experience in a production environment is a plus
  • Leadership experience in training or assessing teams is desirable
  • Workplace Assessor or Adult Education qualifications (or willingness to attain)
