Awanui Labs Taranaki provides high-quality diagnostic pathology services to the community, health care professionals, and their patients. Awanui Labs Taranaki is owned by Awanui Group (Previously known as Asia Pacific Healthcare Group), a healthcare company committed to providing facilities and services that deliver exceptional care to its clients.
Our Taranaki laboratory provides community pathology services, serving a population of approximately 125,000.
We are looking for a Medical Laboratory Trainee or Technician for our Specimen Services team. This is a permanent full-time role of 80 hours fortnightly.
Your key tasks will include barcoding, receipting, and preparing specimens coming into the laboratory; performing data entry of patient and test details; and answering telephones. You will work collaboratively as part of the team, work well under pressure, and have an eye for detail and problem-solving ability.
