What you will do:

As a Trading Support Engineer, you'll be part of a small but critical global team overseeing real-time trading and operations. Responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with customers, addressing queries and issues through chat channels and email ticketing systems
  • System configuration, issue investigation, production monitoring, and troubleshooting production problems
  • Onboarding new customers, setting up their systems, software, and carrying out any integrations
  • Collaborating with the analytics team to develop pricing, execution, and risk-management models
  • Participate in a weekly on-call roster to handle emergency alerts outside office hours

This role demands a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a keen interest in trading markets / cryptocurrency.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

Our ideal candidate will have some of the following:

  • Strong technical foundation with a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar numerate field, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Genuine interest in trading, markets, cryptocurrency
  • Adaptability to changing tasks and priorities
  • Skilled in Linux command line, scripting languages (e.g. Python, Ruby, Shell), and/or proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries
  • Understanding of electronic trading systems, including low-latency environments and exchange protocols (FIX, WebSockets, REST)
  • Quantitative and analytical mindset, focused on automation and continuous improvement
  • Exposure to machine learning and predictive analytics techniques
  • Knowledge of Linux command shell navigation
  • Experience in customer support/help desk roles
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Flexibility with on-call and weekend work as required
