Job summary

CARTERS Dunedin is seeking a Trade Sales Support person to act as the vital link between trade customers, Account Managers and the wider branch. You will ensure orders are placed, queries are resolved and every customer walks away with a great experience.

The role focuses on processing orders, following up back orders, and delivering excellent service while maintaining accurate records and supporting the wider sales team.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and deliver outcomes effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, confident engaging with people at all levels of the organisation.
• A team player who contributes positively to a collaborative environment.
• Good computer skills with a solid grasp of technology.
• Possibly from an EA/PA background, comfortable juggling multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
• Previous experience in customer service or a sales-related role.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and quickly resolve any issues to keep customers satisfied.
• Follow up on back orders to ensure full tracking and fulfilment.
• Provide outstanding customer service by recommending suitable products, preparing and loading orders, and completing sales documentation accurately.
• Keeping order records accurate whilst building genuine, long-term relationships with our customers.
• Supporting our Account Managers and wider team with customer queries, orders and information.
