Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of one of New Zealand’s leading brands in the decorative paint market. Resene is currently seeking a Trade Sales Representative to join our Waikato team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years’ experience in the paint and construction sales industry. A proven track record in sales account management is required with an ability to demonstrate you can build strong relationships with a wide variety of new and existing clients, within the trade and construction industries.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• Call on professional painters, builders and other regular users of paint
• Prepare accurate painting specifications, accurately complete all documentation for inspections, warranties and guarantees
• Attend customer/industry functions, after hours as required, and all ColorShop training sessions
• Keep accurate and up to date customer records and database management
• Work closely with senior management assisting with the Northern Trade Sales team
• Secure critical projects
• Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and effectively communicate that knowledge to the sales team and client base

We’re looking for someone with energy, initiative, a collaborative spirit, and a genuine passion for sales. The role is Full Time (minimum 40 hours) and is based at the Resene Hamilton ColorShop.
