Job summary

Reece New Zealand is hiring for a Trade Counter team member at our Papanui branch. You’ll help plumbers and tradespeople access products for building and renovation projects, and perform essential tasks to keep the branch running smoothly.

You’ll provide friendly product information, take orders, assist with stock control, and help maintain tidy displays. Flexibility for weekend shifts and a genuine customer-service mindset are key to succeeding in this role.

Qualifications

• Has previous experience in retail sales or customer service and enjoys helping customers both in person and over the phone
• Can pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information provided is accurate
• Is tech‑savvy and is adaptable to new systems
• Has a clean, valid driver’s licence and is open to working various shifts, including weekends
• Wants to develop their career - either locally, within our network or head office

Responsibilities

• Providing customer service and information about products
• Make regular deliveries to customers using a company vehicle
• Providing quotes both in person and over the phone
• Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities
• Help keep the branch tidy and safe
