Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a Trade Assistant to join a friendly, hands-on team in Tauranga. You will work in a workshop environment with hands-on tasks, assist tradespeople, and gain exposure to electrical, mechanical, and fabrication areas.

All experience levels are welcome, with on-the-job training available and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. The role suits someone who enjoys variety, stays active, and communicates well in English.

Responsibilities

• Potential to gain trade qualifications or endorsements as you grow.
• Help ensure machinery and plant equipment operate efficiently.
• Ensure tools and equipment are used safely and maintenance tasks are timely.
