Description
This role is responsible for executing trade marketing strategies, developing impactful in-store displays, and ensuring brand consistency across all retail touchpoints. You will collaborate with Marketing and Retail teams to optimise store layouts, implement promotional campaigns, and analyse performance to enhance shopper experiences.
This position will have access to a range of confidential information and so will require the personal characteristics of discretion and integrity.
Key Responsibilities But Are Not Limited To
- Partner with Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) Visual Merchandising Manager (Brand Engagement Managers) and 360 Marketers to execute Retail Activation and VM plans for all B&M retailers within the New Zealand market including Department Store, Pharmacy and Specialty Multi retailers.
- Potential to manage an ANZ Speciality Multi retail entirely, with oversight from ANZ Visual Merchandising Manager.
- Maintain New Zealand Visual Merchandising database and provide necessary input for all VM orders & retail briefs.
- Brief and manage New Zealand unique artwork for collateral and promotional activity as required e.g. Major GWP, retailer specific launch activations, pop up’s etc. Manage necessary approval from retail partners.
- Manage Visual Merchandising component of retail event activation and outposts with vendors and retailers to ensure a successful execution.
- Manage New Zealand Unique EM orders for non-saleable and collateral support elements to ensure the timely delivery & installation, including retailer enquires and troubleshooting issues/production errors.
- Prepare New Zealand Retail Activation & VM guidelines, in consultation with key brand contacts, for promotions and launches to ensure consistency across store footprints.
- Manage New Zealand pricing signage updates, including briefing of artwork, delivery to store.
- Manage all Visual Merchandising, tester and merchandising requirements for new counter installations and renovations.
- Work with the Retail Operations to solve VM / Counter maintenance issues.
- Closely monitor and share competitor and industry activity regarding VM, events, and promotional activities.
- Conduct store visits to ensure brand guidelines are being followed and action solutions to enhance the customer experience and functionality of the retail environment.
- Manage all VM requirements/updates in preparation for market visits.
- Support corporate affiliate VM requirements as needed.
- General tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in a similar visual merchandising role.
- Strong project management skills.

- Proficiency in marketing software and tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field advantageous but not essential.
