Job summary

Claymark is seeking a Timber Machinist in New Zealand to join a stable manufacturing operation. You will set up and run timber machining equipment, ensuring products meet specifications on a consistent production schedule within a supportive team.

Applicants should have maths skills, Timber Machinist qualification or relevant experience, and a strong commitment to health and safety. NZ residency or valid work permit is required.

Qualifications

• Strong math skills with NZ NCEA Level 2 Maths and English preferred.
• Timber Machinist qualification, or relevant remanufacturing or timber machining experience.
• A genuine commitment to health and safety — no shortcuts.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• The ability to work well in a close team.
• Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
