Job summary

Treasury in Lower Hutt, New Zealand, is seeking two experienced Thai Massage Therapists for a full-time, permanent position. The role requires greeting clients, performing a broad range of massage modalities, and providing ongoing wellness guidance.

The successful applicants will be paid weekly at $25–$40 per hour, with a guaranteed 30–48 hour roster and benefits in line with NZ law. Applicants must have NZ citizenship/residency or a valid NZ work visa.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in an authentic Thai Massage business.
• NZ Register Diploma level or higher or overseas qualification comparable to NZ standard.
• National Skill Standard Testing Level 1 (Traditional Thai Massage) from Thailand.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare clients prior to treatments, including assessing client physical condition and case history.
• Perform modalities including Traditional Thai Massage, Aromatherapy, Sports, Deep Tissue, Relaxation, Foot Reflexology, Thai Herbal Compress, Hot Stone, Pregnancy, and Facial Massage.
• Administer treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and relieve muscle tension.
• Provide ongoing treatment recommendations and advise clients on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of treatment rooms, equipment, and products per health and safety standards.
• Perform reception duties including managing client bookings and scheduling appointments.
• Perform other related tasks as required.
• This is a full-time, permanent position.
• Your hourly wage will be $25–$40, depending on your skills and experience, and you will be paid weekly.
• Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid in accordance with the law.
• Your place of work will be 519A High Street, Lower Hutt.
• You will work according to a roster, five to six days per week, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours and a maximum of 48 hours per week.
