Job summary

Trade Assist in Auckland is seeking a Production Test Technician to perform production tests, calibrate equipment, and record results in accordance with QA procedures. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

You will schedule daily testing activities, maintain test rigs, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring safety and compliance throughout the testing process.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on production testing or CNC operation experience.
• Experience with operating and maintaining industrial testing equipment.
• Familiarity with QA processes and documenting test results.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Record, report, and archive all test results in line with company QA requirements.

• Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Ensure test equipment is functioning correctly and is calibrated according to the scheduled maintenance intervals.
• Report any faults or shortages in test equipment or testing consumables.
