Job description

The role

Are you a strong team player who has a good understanding of software & hardware testing? Are you able to design, develop and execute both along with manual and automated test plans? If so, apply to join Tait's Engineering Team as an Intermediate Test Analyst.

In this role you will join a small software team working on critical components that shape how our customers configure, calibrate and update our radios. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a role that has a wide set of opportunities to grow into.

In this role you will

  • Use different testing methodologies (exploratory, bench testing, field trial, automation, etc)
  • Work in cross-functional, agile, development teams
  • Work on complex and challenging project
  • Have opportunity for personal and professional development
  • Be exposed to numerous technologies
  • Get cake when we release software

About you

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Software Engineering or Telecommunications
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Able to maintain tests using (Python, Playwright, Cypress or Selenium)
  • Experience in test automation methodologies and tools (e.g. BDD)
  • Exposure to the full lifecycle of commercial product development
  • Passionate about continuous improvement

Desirable

  • Have appropriate industry experience in a range of testing methodologies
  • Experience with radio systems
  • Proficient with Python programming
  • Be a flexible team player with an inquisitive mind
  • Be able to switch context rapidly to meet business needs
