Job description

Territory Manager, SPM – New Zealand

This role is responsible for driving business growth within the defined territory by maximizing sales of Smith & Nephew Sports Medicine products and brands through regular contact with the target customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Budget: Achieve and exceed sales targets for the territory and meet KPIs set by the Regional Sales Manager. Ensure annual product sales goals are met.
  • Account Management: Develop and implement account strategies aligned with S+N SPM strategies. Conduct regular account reviews with the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and provide monthly reports on actual versus forecasted sales.
  • Market Monitoring: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to develop strategies that mitigate risks to sales targets.
  • Sales Leadership: Support clinical team members in providing case support and training.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Education: Tertiary qualifications in science or business-related disciplines.
  • Experience: Proven experience in Sports Medicine, endoscopy clinical support, or sales within medical devices.
  • Understanding of NZ healthcare system.
  • Ability to interpret financial and clinical data.
  • Travel: 20-80% based on business needs.
