Job summary

Platform 1 in Auckland is seeking a General Manager (GM) to aid in a business ownership transition while ensuring operational growth. The ideal candidate has extensive leadership and relationship management experience, a strong operational background, and a solid understanding of financials. You will work alongside the owner to foster a successful and resilient internal team while preparing the business for future advancements and the owner's gradual retirement. A background in telecommunications or construction would be beneficial.

Above all we need an entrepreneurial commercially astute person who has been in senior positions or owned their own business, and can hit the ground running :

Requirements:

• Leadership - must have led successful teams, train, work under pressure.
• Strong relationship management/sales experience – grow the business
• Operationally strong
• Financial and P&L understanding
• Enthusiasm/Resilience/great attitude
• Some technical understanding of telecommunications and/or construction would be advantageous
