Job summary

The Warehouse is seeking a Christmas/Back to School Team Member at Warehouse Stationery, Riccarton. This fixed-term, part-time role runs during peak periods to support busy stores and deliver great customer service.

You’ll help customers, stock shelves, and contribute to smooth store operations with flexible hours and shifts across Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. A friendly manner and the ability to stay on your feet in a fast-paced shop are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Available throughout the holiday period and flexible with hours/days.
• Fixed-term role until 07/01/2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with finding products and answering questions.
• Stock shelves and ensure displays are tidy and well-presented.
• Support store operations and checkout activities when needed.

Please note this is a fixed term role until07/01/2027. There are 3 open positions for this role with the following hours of work:

Position 1

• Friday 10:00am - 2:00pm

Position 2

• Saturday10:00am - 2:00pm

Position 3

• Sunday10:00am - 2:00pm

You must be at least 15 years of age to be eligible for this role.You will need to be available throughout the holiday period and be flexible with hours and days of work.

Whether you’re a friendly face helping our customers find what they need, or you’re using your eye for detail to ensure our shelves are stocked with the products they love, you’ll play a key role in keeping our stores running smoothly.

To succeed as a Christmas/Back to School Team Member, you’ll be someone with excellent communication skills who is friendly and approachable, who loves sparking a conversation with customers. You will be comfortable working unsupervised and being on your feet for long periods. You'll enjoy working in a busy, fast-paced environment with opportunities to flex your hours and take on more shifts.
