Job summary

Warehouse Stationery in Christchurch is seeking a Christmas/Back to School Team Member for a fixed-term role during the holiday period. Three part-time positions are available with shifts on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays from 10:00am to 2:00pm, and applicants must be at least 15 years old and available throughout the holidays.

You will greet customers, help them find items, and ensure shelves are stocked while working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
• Comfortable working unsupervised in a busy store.
• Able to stand for long periods and stay on your feet.

Responsibilities

Please note this is a fixed term role until 07/01/2027. There are 3 open positions for this role with the following hours of work:

Position 1

• Friday 10:00am - 2:00pm

Position 2

• Saturday 10:00am - 2:00pm

Position 3

• Sunday 10:00am - 2:00pm

You must be at least 15 years of age to be eligible for this role. You will need to be available throughout the holiday period and be flexible with hours and days of work.

Whether you’re a friendly face helping our customers find what they need, or you’re using your eye for detail to ensure our shelves are stocked with the products they love, you’ll play a key role in keeping our stores running smoothly.

Qualifications

To succeed as a Christmas/Back to School Team Member, you’ll be someone with excellent communication skills who is friendly and approachable, who loves sparking a conversation with customers. You will be comfortable working unsupervised and being on your feet for long periods. You'll enjoy working in a busy, fast-paced environment with opportunities to flex your hours and take on more shifts.
