Kia Ora, We’re on the lookout for a passionate technology teacher to join our awesome team of six specialist kaiako from term 1, 2026. If you love teaching, care about kids, and enjoy working in a hands-on, creative environment, we’d love to meet you!

About us

Mt Cook School Tech Centre is a highly successful provider of technology education for Y7 and 8 students from 14 contributing schools plus our host school, Mt Cook. We’re based right in the heart of Wellington and work with tamariki from a wide variety of backgrounds.

This role has come about due to the retirement of a much-loved kaiako after 32 years in our team – a rare opportunity to step into a well-resourced, well-supported environment.
