Job summary

Connexa Limited, New Zealand’s leading mobile tower infrastructure company, is seeking a Technical Project Manager – Digital Twin to lead the delivery of the digital asset programme for our 2,500-site tower portfolio. This includes drone capture, 3D survey, structural assessment and digital twin modelling.

You will also drive remote monitoring, telemetry and power resilience programmes to improve site performance and network availability, coordinating nationwide design, procurement, logistics,

Qualifications

• Experience delivering digital twin or similar digital asset programmes at national scale.
• Confidence with geospatial, survey data and model data.
• Understanding of technical drawings is essential.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Connexa is New Zealand’s leading mobile tower infrastructure company, driven by a mission to enable a more connected digital future for Aotearoa New Zealand. We do this by designing, building and managing mobile sites across the country for telecommunications providers (like Spark and 2degrees) to expand their coverage efficiently and sustainably. Our tower portfolio of 2,500 covers Cape Reinga to Bluff and is the largest in New Zealand.

Kiwis’ mobile data use has increased dramatically in recent years and demand for mobile services continues to grow. The Connexa team is focused on ensuring Aotearoa is keeping up with this increasing demand, both today and into the future, by building an additional 800 towers over the next eight years to support the required growth in coverage and capacity.

The Role:

As a Technical Project Manager – Digital Twin at Connexa, you will lead the delivery of our digital asset programme, building and maintaining a complete digital picture of our 2,500-site tower portfolio through drone capture, 3D survey; structural assessment and digital twin modelling. Alongside this, you will also deliver the remote monitoring, telemetry and power resilience programmes that give us live visibility of site performance and strengthen network availability across the country.

Key responsibilities include:

• You will own the full project lifecycle from initiation through planning, design, execution and closure, delivering multi-site rollouts to fixed completion dates, within budget and to agreed technical, evidence and compliance standards.
• You will coordinate design, procurement, logistics, installation and commissioning nationally.
• You will build solid relationships with our vendors

• Experience delivering digital twin, drone capture, 3D survey, structural assessment or similar digital asset programmes, or comparable technology deployment experience at national scale.
• Confidence working with geospatial, survey and model data, and experience managing specialist software platforms, licences and their vendors.
• Experience in telecoms engineering and a radio frequency all rounder
• An understanding of technical drawings is essential
• You will have fantastic communication and relationship building skills in all formats
