Job summary

WSP NZ in Auckland seeks a Technical Principal – Water Asset Management to lead our water assets practice. In this senior role, you will guide strategy, planning, lifecycle management, investment, risk and performance across client projects and regulatory readiness.

You will build trusted advisor relationships with water sector clients and regulated suppliers, shape service delivery, support business development and contribute to thought leadership that strengthens WSP's market position across

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification and professional registration or accreditation.
• Minimum of 15 years' professional experience in asset management, water services, utilities and/or advisory consulting.
• Demonstrated experience in water supply and/or wastewater asset management.
• Strong understanding of ISO 55000/55001 and asset management system thinking.
• Understanding of New Zealand water sector drivers, reform and information disclosure requirements.
• Proven ability to work with clients, senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
• Current clean driver's licence.
