UPS POWER is a privately owned, Wellington-based company that offers smart UPS (UninterruptiblePower) systems with offices in Wellington, Christchurch and Auckland. The business continues to enjoy strong growth due to a focus on quality products, solutions and service.

The role
Reporting to and working closely with the Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of key accounts as well as identifying new business opportunities.
You will play a vital role in driving revenue and building strong, long-lasting relationships with UPSPS clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of key commercial accounts.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including responding to tenders and proposals
• Scoping new projects and providing quotes
• Provide technical guidance and support to clients, ensuring UPSPS reputation as a trusted supplier is maintained.
• Collaborate with the wider sales team to share best practices and support team goals
• Maintain detailed records of all client interactions and sales activities

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a commercial sales role (Or experience in an electrical estimating/ project management role)
• Current or recent EWRB certification or similar qualification
• Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a portfolio of key accounts in an electrical environment or similar.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and products, with the ability to provide expert advice and guidance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using CRM systems and MS Office applications
