We are seeking a Technical Account Manager to join our growing High-Performance Sales Team, representing some of the most trusted brands in the industry—Sutton, Walter, Seco, Mitutoyo, and Cimcool.

This is an exciting opportunity for a CNC expert looking to step into a dynamic, customer-facing role with autonomy to manage their territory while working with premium products and innovative machining solutions.

About the Role

As a Technical Account Manager, you’ll support customers across Waikato, Taranaki, and Bay of Plenty by offering technical expertise and high-performance solutions, including:

  • Cutting tools from Sutton, Walter & Seco.
  • Precision metrology equipment from Mitutoyo.
  • Coolants and metalworking fluids from Cimcool.

You will work directly with customers to optimize tooling performance, solve machining challenges, and help drive productivity improvements.

What You’ll Bring

Essential:

  • NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Valid NZ Driver’s License.
  • Trade Certificate in Mechanical Engineering (Fitting & Machining or Toolmaking) or equivalent qualification.
  • 5–10 years of hands-on CNC machining experience including both machining centers and lathes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Sales experience (an advantage, but not essential - we value a positive attitude and a willingness to learn).
  • Strong work ethic with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Solid computer literacy.
  • Professional, personable approach with a focus on delivering real value to customers.
