Job summary

Harvey Norman is hiring for a full-time sales role in the Computers & Communications department at the Tory Street store. You’ll engage customers, learn products, and drive sales in-store with uncapped commission potential.

Training will build product knowledge and sales capability, supporting career progression within New Zealand’s leading retailer. The role requires strong communication, a customer-focused approach, and availability across a 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and people skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop product knowledge.
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays.
• Retail or sales experience, desirable.
• Experience using POS systems, desirable.

Responsibilities

• Sell computers and communication products while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Build product knowledge to confidently recommend tailored solutions.
• Process transactions using point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain visual merchandising and presentation standards.
• Assist with stock takes and general operational tasks.
• Work across a 7‑day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
