Job summary

Harvey Norman Stores (NZ) Pty in Invercargill is sourcing a customer-focused retail professional to join the Computers & Communications team. You’ll drive sales, deliver an outstanding in-store experience, and build lasting customer relationships while earning an uncapped commission on top of the base hourly rate.

You’ll receive structured product training, develop sales expertise, and have opportunities for career progression within one of New Zealand’s leading retailers.

Qualifications

• Retail or sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic numeracy and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Sell computers and communications products while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Build product knowledge to confidently recommend tailored solutions.
• Process transactions using point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain visual merchandising and presentation standards.
• Assist with stock takes and general operational tasks.
• Work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.

About the Role:

• Computer literate with basic numeracy skills.
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays.
• Previous retail or sales experience, desirable.

• Experience using POS systems, desirable.
