Job summary

Rosehill Intermediate School is seeking a creative technology specialist for a 0.4 permanent role (2 days per week). You will join our collaborative technology team delivering hands-on learning in hard materials and digital fabrication for Year 7–8 students.

This role focuses on metalwork, casting, and modern manufacturing alongside traditional crafts. We value instructional freedom, project-based modules, and a flexible educator who thrives on variety and real-world design challenges.

Qualifications

• Registered teacher with a strong foundation in hard materials, engineering, metal technology, or innovative product design.
• Willingness to experiment with new materials, techniques, and real-world design challenges.
• Team player who communicates clearly with visiting client school staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging, project-based learning modules blending modern manufacturing techniques with traditional hands-on skills.
• Collaborate with the technology team to develop and deliver metalwork and digital fabrication projects.
• Inspire Year 7–8 students across client schools and foster design thinking and practical craftsmanship.
