Job description
Overview

At MATTR, we’re trailblazing the frontier of digital trust. As a high-growth SaaS company, we’re delivering cutting-edge decentralised identity solutions that empower global organisations to put identity into the hands of individuals, safely.

We’re looking for a Tech Lead who loves being on the best tools as much as coaching, developing and motivating the brightest minds. Working alongside Product, QA, SRE and Labs teams, you'll set the technical vision that defines how millions interact with verifiable data.

If you’re hungry to lead, ready to influence and excited to see your work impact industries worldwide, then this is where you belong.

What you'll be doing
  • Lead your squad to deliver high quality epics, in an environment of open communication, no egos, and high collaboration.
  • Own the full development lifecycle - from concept and design through to production deployment and post-release support.
  • Drive agile delivery by leading sprint planning, breaking down complex work, and proactively resolving technical dependencies and delivery blockers.
  • Help to maintain the highest quality of engineering standards, ensuring code is clean, reusable, and well-documented - we don't do debt!
  • Partner with the wider MATTR Engineering team to evolve tools, processes, and technical practices.
What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline (advantageous).
  • At least 2 years in a people-leadership role in which you've hired, coached and energised exceptional teams
  • Hands-on expertise building production-grade mobile apps and SDKs using React Native and TypeScript.
  • Demonstrated ability to design resilient mobile architectures that prioritise security, scalability, reliability and user experience.
  • Track record of delivering complex technical solutions, writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code aligned with modern engineering practices.
  • You're an energetic communicator, with the ability to engage technically and commercially across all levels of MATTR - our roles have enormous scope for growth, if you can see the scope, it's yours.
Advantageous
  • Skills in a range of technologies such as node, AWS, native mobile applications development for iOS and Android
  • You are an evangelist for verifiable data and digital trust
