Job summary

A leading primary school in Northland is seeking enthusiastic leaders for Y0–2 and Y5–6 teams. Successful candidates will have a proven record in effective teaching and behaviour management, and be able to inspire and support their teams. These positions commence at the start of term 1, 2026, and are dedicated to raising student achievement and making a difference in the community.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Y0–2 and Y5–6 teams.
• Contribute to the wider school leadership team.

Due to internal promotions, two wonderful opportunities have arisen for people wishing to step into a team leadership role.

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivating leaders for our Y0–2 and Y5–6 teams.

• Need to have a proven track record of effective teaching, behaviour management and engagement with family/whānau
• Will positively contribute to the wider school and extended leadership team
• Have the desire and ability to inspire, motivate and coach others within their team
• Will be confident with the use of ICT and ability to integrate into their classroom programme
• Be approachable and empathetic and have a growth mindset attitude to challenges that present.
