Job summary

Newlands School in Wellington is inviting applications for a Team Leader Year 5 and 6. The role is full-time and permanent, commencing in term 1 2027, with two permanent units available and leadership release time. The successful candidate will lead our senior team and also teach a Year 5/6 class.

We are seeking an experienced teacher with proven leadership capabilities who can support others to reflect and strengthen practice. Additional fixed-term units may be available based on strengths.

This position is permanent and starts in term 1 2027 . 2 permanent units are available along with leadership release time. Based on the candidate's strengths there is also the possibility of another fixed term unit for specific curriculum leadership.
