About the Role

As the Team Leader – Exterior Plasterer, you will oversee a team of plasterers, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and site safety. You will play a critical role in project management, quality control, mentoring staff, and liaising with clients and other trades. Your expertise and leadership will be pivotal in delivering projects on time and to specification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of exterior plasterers on various job sites.
  • Plan and coordinate daily tasks, ensuring efficient workflow and quality outcomes.
  • Carry out all aspects of exterior plastering, including but not limited to modified plastering, and interior lime plaster finishes.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, ensuring compliance with company and industry regulations.
  • Conduct quality checks and provide on-the-job training and feedback to team members.
  • Interpret plans and specifications accurately to deliver work according to project requirements.
  • Liaise professionally with clients, site managers, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Encourage a positive team environment based on mutual respect, open communication, and continuous improvement.
About You

We are seeking a candidate who brings both technical proficiency and strong leadership qualities. You are a tradesperson who takes pride in your work, inspires others, and is driven to achieve outstanding results.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience as an exterior plasterer.
  • Prior experience leading or supervising a team within the construction industry. LBP registered or open to achieving this qualification is highly desirable.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various exterior plastering systems and finishes.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
