About the Role

As Team Leader, you'll be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, mentoring a small team, and ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You\'ll be actively involved in the work, setting the tone for quality and performance while managing tools, materials, and compliance.

This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, practical environment and enjoys leading from the front.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support a small team on-site.
  • Act as a key holder for facilities and vehicles.
  • Manage work orders, documentation, and compliance using Site App Pro.
  • Conduct daily health & safety checks and toolbox talks.
  • Organise tools, materials, and supplier coordination.
  • Perform maintenance, minor repairs, and general labouring.
  • Communicate effectively with the Director and wider team.
What We\'re Looking For

Mandatory:

  • Full Class 1 Driver\'s License
  • NZ Citizenship
  • MOJ Clearance
  • Physically fit and capable of manual labour
  • Basic IT proficiency (e.g., mobile apps, printers, computers)
  • Previous leadership or management experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred:

  • EWP, WTR, Class 2 or 4 licenses
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Site Safe Foundation Passport
  • NZ Certificate in Carpentry Level 4
