We’re looking for an experienced and passionate team leader to take the lead in our O2s spaces, overseeing two classrooms and guiding a team of dedicated kaiako. This is a dynamic opportunity for someone with strong pedagogical knowledge, a proactive mindset, and a genuine love for early childhood education.

In your role, you will:

  • Lead and oversee the daily operations of two O2s classrooms, fostering collaboration and consistency across teaching teams
  • Support and evolve our school readiness programme,ensuring tamariki are confidently prepared for their next step
  • Role model best practice, champion high-quality teaching, and guide continuous growth through reflective practice
  • Design, implement, and evaluate a rich, responsive curriculum aligned with Te Whāriki and ECE documents
  • Lead regular reviews of policies, practices, and environments, ensuring they meet the needs of all learners.

You’ll bring:

  • A recognised ECE qualification with current full Teaching Registration
  • Strong leadership capability, with experience leading teams or classrooms
  • Excellent pedagogical knowledge and a passion for child-led, purposeful learning
  • Confidence in curriculum development and internal evaluation
  • A proactive, positive, and driven approach to mentoring others
  • A warm, nurturing presence that supports tamariki to thrive.
