Job summary

Silver Fern Farms Ltd. is seeking a Team Leader for the Secondary Butchery on our Finegand site. You will lead the floor, drive quality and safety, and support daily production to meet targets.

A strong leadership background in manufacturing and FMCG is preferred, with a passion for team growth and continuous improvement to advance in the red meat industry. Te Tūranga /About the Role

As a Team Leader in Secondary Butchery at our Finegand site, you will play a key role in supporting daily production operations, leading your team on the floor, and ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently achieved. Secondary Butchery is where carcasses are expertly broken down into retail and wholesale cuts, ready for distribution to customers around the world.

Supported by an experienced leadership team, you will have the opportunity to drive continuous improvement, develop your leadership capability, and build a rewarding long-term career with Silver Fern Farms.

This is a Day Shift position and interested applicants will need to be available for production hours Monday to Friday 5am - 3.30pm approx.; as well as pre-start production meetings and some Saturday work as stock flow requires.
