Job summary

Woolworths Group in New Zealand is seeking a part-time Operations Lead to manage and optimise a defined workstream. You will drive on-time process completion with your swarm, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while aligning with store guidelines.

The role involves scheduling, multiskilling, onboarding and training, with a focus on safety, compliance and proactive issue resolution. Weekend shifts are required and teamwork is essential.

Responsibilities

• Execute Operations & Lead Team: Follow routines for accurate, on-time process completion and lead your swarm to ensure work is done correctly.
• Manage Workforce & Development: Assist with scheduling, multiskilling, recruitment, succession planning, onboarding and training.
• Champion Safety & Compliance: Promote a safe environment by following protocols, reporting hazards, and monitoring procedures.
• Resolve Issues Proactively: Elevate process-related issues to your Function Lead for quick resolution.
• Contribute to Store Leadership: Act as Acting Store Manager on shifts and foster team collaboration.

• This is a part time position offer 20 hours per week.


• Manage and maintain process flow for an assigned workstream.


• Collaborate closely with your Team Leader and 'swarm' to ensure efficiency.


• Ensure uninterrupted process completion and strict adherence to established guidelines.
