We’re looking for some awesome teachers to join our team in 2027.

Kaukapakapa School is a full primary (Years 1–8) in a beautiful semi rural community, just 20 minutes from Silverdale and about 25 minutes from Huapai and Westgate.

We are continuing to grow a strong sense of belonging, positive relationships, shared leadership and a commitment to helping all of our learners succeed.

With two permanent teaching positions available for 2027, we have flexibility across year levels and are looking for people with different strengths, experiences and passions.

Leadership opportunities

Alongside our teaching positions, we have opportunities for experienced teachers to take on additional leadership, including Team Leader and Curriculum Leader roles.

We are also looking for a teacher who can provide leadership and support for te ao Māori across our kura. This is a teaching position, either within a general classroom or potentially a specialist area, depending on strengths and experience.

Alongside their teaching role, they will help strengthen te reo Māori, tikanga Māori, kapa haka and culturally responsive practice across our kura, while growing our connection with our local community and place.
