A local kindergarten in Manawatū-Whanganui is seeking a part-time teacher to implement te reo Māori and collaborate with whānau. This role involves fostering inclusion and working closely with the primary school to enhance children's learning experiences. You will work approximately 26 hours per week, focusing on creating a supportive and responsive learning environment.

Te Manawanui Kindergarten is situated in the rural community of Shannon. For the last 18 years the service has sat within the Shannon School grounds offering a pathway from ECE into Primary. The responsive community are committed to supporting and caring for each other. Our very strong relationships with local educational and community services reflects our genuine whānau based approach to education and we regularly participate together in school events.
As a 0.65 FTE teacher you will work a total of 26 hours per week as follows:
Monday: 8.15am to 4.45pm (includes ½ hour unpaid break)
Tuesday: 8.15am to 4.45pm (includes ½ hour unpaid break)
Wednesday: 12.15pm to 3pm
Thursday: 10.15am to 3pm
Friday: 12.15pm to 2.45pm
