About Adventure Kindergarten

Adventure Kindergarten situated in Whitby is in a picturesque and well-established suburb located in the eastern part of Porirua City. Nestled along the southern shore of the Pauatahanui Inlet, it offers a unique blend of natural beauty, thoughtful urban planning, and a strong sense of community.

The suburb also features the Whitby Shopping Centre, which acts as the commercial hub, and hosts weekend markets and community events that foster a strong local spirit. Our culturally diverse learning community includes many young professional families, who are actively engaged with the learning journey of their tamariki.

Our Kindergarten community works together to create an inviting and well-resourced environment which actively encourages and supports tamariki exploration, participation, and learning. Our strong and reciprocal relationships within our learning community, including with our parents, whānau and local schools, support ongoing learning for tamariki.

We are licenced for 40 children who attend for 6 hours each day. You will join our team of 4 other teachers.

As a .7 Teacher your total hours of work will be 28 hours per week, worked as follows: Monday 11.30am-2.30pm; Tuesday 7.30am-4pm; Wednesday 11.15am-4pm; Thursday 7.30am-2.30pm; Friday 8.30am-2.45pm
