Overview

Full time, Long-term relieving (LTR). Start Date: 28/01/2026 (maternity leave).

Role: Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher. Subjects include: English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts.

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, collaborative Year 7 teacher who is confident and comfortable teaching Reading, Writing, and Mathematics. Preference may be given to candidates who can teach beyond these core domains in areas such as The Arts, Health, PE, Te Reo Māori, Te Marautanga o Aotearoa, and beyond. Please indicate your areas of strength in your application.

The successful applicant will have an excellent working knowledge of the NZ Curriculum, be highly student-centred, and embody the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in all areas of their teaching and professional practice.

This is an exciting time to join our college as we respond to our recent curriculum review, embedding culturally responsive pedagogy and enhancing mana ōrite mō te Mātauranga Māori.
