Job summary

Te Haikura A Kiwa is seeking a full-time, permanent NZ registered Supported Learning Teacher for a 2027 start at our Manurewa kura serving a diverse community of learners. The role focuses on Secondary/Wharekura education across multiple subjects and requires strong assessment practices.

The successful applicant will demonstrate empathy, an understanding of culture, and a commitment to the NZ Curriculum, with flexible teaching methods to support student achievement and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must hold NZ registration and current practising certificate.
• Excellent classroom management and inclusive teaching practices.
• Ability to design flexible and ongoing assessment aligned to the NZ Curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teach Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura across listed subjects.
• Create and implement flexible ongoing assessment strategies.

We are looking for a full time, permanent NZ registered Supported Learning Teacher for 2027 start. Our kura provides education for the multicultural diversity of Manurewa.
